Christmas Party & Awards 2011

The girls have worked so hard this semester. They planned a simple award ceremony to review their accomplishments and we made scrapbook wreaths. Fun times with great friends and family!

Christmas Parade 2011

The Annual Christmas Parade was such a blast for the girls last year - not to mention that little trophy of ours, we decided it was worth putting some effort into.

So, while the parade never came to be this year...the girls had oodles of fun with weeks of hard work and preparation as we pulled together our plans for a "Snowman" float.

Pumpkin Patch

The girls had so much fun at the Kajin Farms Pumpkin Patch last year, we decided to give it another go.  While pumpkins were in a bit of short supply, the girls still had a blast riding the "train", the hay ride and picking out that perfect pumpkin.

The girls also learned about the drought we've had this year and were able to see first-hand the impact it was having on a local business.  There were as many dead trees as there were living ones.  It was a sad realization and we were glad to be supporting one of our local businesses.

Halloween Fun & Science In Action Try-It

We decided to give our Science In Action Try-It a little Halloween twist!  The girls were welcomed with caution tape and a room full of smoke.

We made Thank You banners for the Greenville Fire Station for their service and giving us a tour and the Opry House for an evening full of entertainment.

We made vampire pops as a gift for our Senior Dinner next week.

The girls learned how to blow up a balloon without using their own air, that black isn't really black and we made weird GOOP!!

We ended the afternoon with some spooky treats and witch's brew.
